Rockford Illinois

In August of 2017, I revisited my birth place, my Roots, Rockford Illinois. I had not been there since I attended my Gandmother's funeral in fifth grade. I managed to find the home my Grandparents raised me in on the Rock River, next to the Rockford Country Club. St. Peters church assisted me in providing me the name of the cemeteries for my Grandparents and birth mother to pay my respects. It was a short but overdue trip but I am glad I made the journey back.
